medium, create a showcase for our abundant Needham Based Professional Artists, as well as bring art from From Around The World right into downtown Needham all year round!
That includes Selected Shows from the MFA and other art gallery collections, or Special Feature Shows like the top picks
from the Needham High annual art project, and Themed Shows From International Artists, and more!
The Eaton Square Galerie
project has been Fully Approved By The Town Of Needham
and enthusiastically endorsed by the building owner.
It will be installed as soon as you're able to fund it!
This Outdoor, All Weather, Rotating Galerie Will:
- Create An
Atmosphere Of Cultural Vibrancy In Downtown Needham, that is frequently renewed with beautiful, interesting expressions of Art All Year Round!
- Create Affordable, Highly visible, Professionally Presented Exposure For Artists Of Nearly All Mediums, helping them share their work with thousands, connecting more art enthusiasts with collections of their work.
- Add an attractive, unique Needham Point Of Interest to our
town, enhancing Needham's increasingly beautiful, colorful, artistic atmosphere.
- Help Inspire More Visits and Foot Traffic To Our Local Restaurants And Shops, as Artists encourage their followers to see their work on public display in Needham Center.
- Provide Young And Old An Experience Of Art As Part Of Their Daily Experience Of Life. And As An Added Bonus, Every Display Will Include An
Interactive Link (as museums often do) telling us more about the Artist in ways that take us deeper into the experience!
Initial Project Funding Includes:
- Detailed Wall Renovations, The Art Display Frames, Artist Info Frames, Wall Signage, Lighting, Sponsor Plaque, and Installation
- Establishment of the Art Curation Subcommittee
(made up of top local artists and curation
advisors) - Funding for the First Four Art Galerie Shows!
The "Galerie" Will Bring A Beautiful, Changing Variety Of Art To Our Needham Experience Of Community
While creating consistent, affordable
exposure for professional artists, both locally and internationally.
After the Galerie is installed, ongoing shows will be funded by the Artist's displaying, Sponsorships, Donations and Grants
