Image One: The beautiful granite walled train station before it burned as collateral damage to a fire in an across the street building. All that remained was the turret shaped section that is now a feature of The James Restaurant And Pub

Image Two: An impressive, quite ornate train positioned across Great Plain Avenue specifically for the photograph and features the great locomotive and it's entire crew beside it. If you look closely, you'll see a horse and buggy coming up Great Plain Avenue to the left of the front of the train. 

This fun mural transforms the building's rear entrances into a whimsical glimpse into Needham's relationship with the train and of a moment in our 300+ year history that's part of what makes Needham...Needham today.
